Description

Saints Philip and James Apostles Parish located in front of the Lagonoy Municipal Hall. The Said parish church was originally constructed in 1768, but was destroyed by floods. In 1855, the second church was built but its construction was abandoned due to the unstable ground. The present church of The Saints Philips and James the Apostles Parish is the third stone church in Lagonoy completed in the year 1874. The parish has historical, architectural, and scientific value. It is one of the oldest stone churches in the province of Camarines Sur.
